Dutch Goat Farm / by Gulce Kilkis

Last time I visited my high school friend who now lives in the suburbs of Amsterdam, she came up with a great activity we can do on a rare snowy day in Netherlands: Visiting a goat farm. An animal photographer's dream come true!

We took a little stroll through the picturesque Amsterdam forest to get to Goatfarm Ridammerhoeve.

Small but bustling with the cutest farm animals, Goatfarm Ridammerhoeve not only has goats but also 2 of the most rambunctious little pigs and a lot of roosters and chickens.

To our luck, the goats have recently had babies. Little cute baby goats were everywhere, playing and getting bottle fed by the visitors.

That day I also learnt that goats' eyes are so weird looking and that they love to pose for the camera.

We ended the day warming up drinking some hot chocolate made with fresh goatmilk and enjoying an apple pie.
